Title: Requests
Post by: Bill Carr on Jul 24, 2025, 12:38 PM
I remember a lot of good comedy being on BBC2 during the early 00's and Dead Ringers was a favourite. One sketch I enjoyed had Brian Sewell (i.e. Jon Culshaw) in a working men's club giving a lecture on "the great composers".  ;D

I'd love to see that again.

Only s1 was released on DVD, so that's uploading now. I'll move this topic in to general chat later and rename it as requests.

If you have any requests, post them in this topic. Only regular posters can ask for stuff.

Rob Brydon's 'Annually Retentive' would be good

Larry Sanders is running just now, but we've got s1 of Annually Retentive, so it should be done in a few days.

This clip of Vic Reeves & Jarvis on Mondo Rosso could do with a clean up (can't find a better one than this)

Vic looking like Tony Ferrino!

Using poor quality source video really doesn't work well. Those flashes of colour would carry through the upscale and just be emphasised.

Catterick would be great (if not already done somewhere)

Catterick can't be posted publicly as some episodes are blocked and it needs the whole lot.

Cheers for both! God, Catterick is so good. 20 years old now and still brilliant on a re-watch. It's just a wonderful, surreal trip.
