Title: Hardwicke House (1987)
Post by: cosmo on Oct 15, 2025, 07:57 PM
Thanks to freelance producer Mark Pickett, who was working at Central at that time, the whole of Hardwicke House, which only lasted for 48 hours on air before ITV yanked it due to "bad taste", has finally resurfaced.

From what I've seen of it, it had some decent bits around (such as the Icelandic teacher), but it even still looked as it was trying quite hard to find its feet, and probably might have done so had ITV placed it in their late Sunday night comedy slot and not mid-evening midweek.

(And one ep featured extra added Rik & Ade as former school bullies!)
