Title: TV Squash (1992)
Post by: cosmo on Dec 06, 2025, 04:42 PM
In a not altogether different vibe from Renwick and Marshall's End of Part One (1979-80), this show looks at the average television's channel output for on a average day (plus weekends) of the time in its six episodes. Also features real-life celebrity guests.

Squeezed by ITV into a 23.00 slot on Sunday nights in late summer, just before the overnight programmes. (If it didn't take off, that was probably the main reason why.)

(Check out the Bottom parody in the last episode!)

nice one, I've never heard of this

I've just watched the first couple of episodes and thought it was ok. Nothing fantastic, but fun enough. Thanks for posting.

From what I've seen, it is very funny in places, although as in this type of show, some items work better than others.
