Another attempt by ITV to push its sitcom output "higher". Probably Punt, Dennis, and Hancock only attempts to "break" into sitcom, although apparently the main reason why it lasted only one series was that they decided that sitcom was not really their forte and decided to do just the one series.

Another show that probably would have worked better in the Spitting Image/Tarrant on TV slot on Sunday nights, instead of a weekday midevening, although apparently they did try doing a more "mature" version of two or three episodes, in case it was shunted to a later slot. Would have been interesting to have seen how that would have turned out... It was also said that either this or Men Behaving Badly would be renewed, so MBB it was...
