Another early detective show, starring one of the earliest fictional characters to become a household name* - as portrayed by Donald Gray.

Again, helped to be saved from humdrum, by among other things, a generous amount of on location filming. Oh, and although DG was a bit wooden in places, it is still quite amusing to see him trying to drive with just one arm (luckily for him, it was the left arm he lost). Also, he has a very slight Roger Moore-esque air to him, due to his very soothing voice, which funnily enough would also suit him giving the voice to bad guy Captain Black in Captain Scarlet ten years later.
